Frequently Asked Questions

 Schedule

What are the important dates to know?

The preschool calendar will generally follow the Davis County School District traditional calendar, so that family time can be scheduled when all your children are available. You can find the school district calendar by clicking here.

The main exception will be that the first week of school will be individual testing for your child, so I can tailor their learning to their levels and strengths.

What does a typical class day look like?

I’m so glad you asked! Here is a snapshot of what a typical class day will look like.

10 minutes:  Arrival—work on folder learning games as the children arrive

15 minutes:  Begin our day with the Pledge of Allegiance, welcome song, identify day of the week, weather, letter, number and sight word of the day. Time to Share—allow each child to share something about their day (this gives them a chance to practice taking turns, as well as being able to share what is important to them.)

15 minutes:  Social Skills—everything from reading a book about sharing to practicing with zippers, buttons and tying shoes, or learning their address.

20 minutes:  Movement—dance, physical games, gross motor skill development

15 minutes:  Reading Time—group and individual time with books

20 minutes:  Creative Play—time to play with learning toys and games and develop social skills

10 minutes:  Snack

40 minutes:  Lesson of the day—this includes math, art, science and language skills based on a       theme such as; dinosaurs, outer space, etc...

5 minutes:  Pack up for the day

What are the monthly rates?

For the 2025-2026 school year, the following table shows the options for scheduling and monthly tuition per child.

A $40 non-refundable set-up fee is required to hold your child’s seat in your preferred time slot. There are no additional fees; the monthly rate covers everything except for the initial set-up fee.

How do I pay?

Great question! We currently accept payment through cash, check, or through Venmo. (Holly-Ferguson-grateful). Please register before sending any payment so we can accurately allocate payment to your child.

What is the cancellatioN policy?

The $40 initial set up fee is non-refundable, but you can cancel your child’s enrollment until two weeks before school begins. After that date, and during the school year, you must give 30 days written notice if you are cancelling your child’s enrollment.

If you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out and I will do my best to find a solution.
